First come, first served. Your CSA share is reserved only upon payment (in full, or your first instalment).
Unpredictability is an inherent part of farming (insects, animals, weather, etc.), therefore we cannot guarantee the availability of our crops. We do not offer refunds for partial crop failures. The spirit of taking part in a CSA farm is that you stick by us during the hard times, and we in turn acknowledge your support by giving you more when the harvests are plentiful. By becoming a CSA member, you understand the risk associated with this type of farming and agree to support it.
We guarantee the freshness and the overall quality of our produce. If you are unhappy with an item for any quality-related reason, let us know right away and we will swap it out for something that is adequate. We will make every effort to offer you produce that "looks" like you want to eat it. However the only way to prevent imperfections would be to kill every other living thing surrounding the plant; practices that we do not use, nor condone.
We usually wash most vegetables prior to putting them in your box, but not always as that would adversely affect their storage. However, we do recommend you give everything an extra rinse at home before eating or cooking.
Taking a vacation? Good for you! But that probably means you won't be able to pick up your Weekly Veggie Box. Fortunately, you can make alternate arrangements for up to two (2) weeks (and they don't have to be consecutive). We simply require that you notify us at least one (1) week before your planned vacation in order to make the proper arrangements.

Please be advised that there is no cash value associated with these credits, and that they will not be reimbursed if forfeited.
Missed Pick Ups
These happen, we get it. If you are not able to pick up your share at the arranged time and place, notify us as soon as possible so that we can make alternate arrangements with you. If you do not notify us, your share will be "recycled" in some way (such as donating it to a not-for-profit group or program that tackles food security issues in the community).
Missed Payments (Instalments)
If you miss making an instalment payment by the date it is due, we will withhold your share until payment is received. But you know, we're people too, so if you can't make a payment as some point, get in touch and we'll discuss it.
